Outsourcing is about taking things that we would normally have to do in our day-to-day lives, and having someone else do it for us, ideally at a good value – but not necessarily. The cost/benefit ratio has to make sense to you. If you don’t have the skill, then paying someone who does only makes sense. If you have the skill, again paying someone with that expertise would free you up so you have more. Only you can decide if it’s worth the time and/or money.
In terms of efficiency, personal outsourcing is incredibly valuable and can improve your quality of life. Some people need outside help with simple daily living responsibilities. Some would rather have a professional do their mundane tasks so they can spend better quality time with their children or on high-value tasks/projects. If you are making a move or selling your home to downsize, then getting someone in to freshen up the place prior to sale, really makes sense. Whichever reason best applies, it allows you to get more out of your day.
